Jataka Tales are stories full of wisdom, humor and kindness which originated long time ago, and depictions of them appear in early Indian art as early as the second century BCE. These vast collections of tales tell the Buddha's past lives and have come down to us over the ages. They were translated into many languages and had a major cultural impact in India, Central Asia, Asia and are now widely spread in the world. I hope you will enjoy these adaptations by Relax Petso that retain the original message and their authenticity while giving them a renewed storytelling. A clown is...

Image
“A clown is a poet in action. He is the story which he enacts. [...] The clown teaches us to laugh at ourselves. [...] Joy is like a river: it flows ceaselessly. It seems to me that this is the message which the clown is trying to convey to us, that we should participate through the ceaseless flow and movement, that we should not stop to reflect, compare, analyze, possess, but flow on and through, endlessly, like music. This is the gift of surrender, and the clown makes it symbolically.” - Henry Miller in “The Smile at the Foot of the Ladder”
